Meatball Sandwich

It’s been a long trail of outlining heavy dishes and I’ve come to realize that it will be good also to provide a recipe for snack or any appetizers that will bring delight to people of all ages. Here is one snack/dish that is nutricious and delectable. A complete set of meal that consists of protein and carbo, Meatball Sandwich is a definite surprise.

The essential factor of this recipe is that the meatballs are mixed well in tomato sauce, which is then added with quick melt cheese.

INGREDIENTS
1 pound ground beef
bread crumbs
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
2 minced cloves garlic,
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (any cheese will also do)
1 beaten egg
1 French baguette (toasted bread or loaf will do, too)
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper
spaghetti sauce

PROCEDURE

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).  Mix by hand he ground beefm bread crumbs, italian seasoning, garlic, parsley, cheese, and beaten egg in a bowl. Get a small amount of the mixture and shape into meatball. Do at least a dozen of meatballs. Afterwards, place the meatballs in a baking dish

2. Bake for 15-20 minutes in the ove. Cut the bread in half. Remove some of the bread inside to give some space to the meatballs. Brush with olive oil nd season with garlic powder, salt, and pepprt. Toast the bread inthe oven for 5 minutes.

3. Do the sauce in a saucepan by heating the spaghetti sauce in it. Transfer the baked meatballs in the sauce. Afterwards, take out the bread from the oven and put some of the sauce and balls in it. Add with cheese on top and put the sandwich again in the oven for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
