We have here on of the best comfort foods in the world. This is a basic viand that can be combined with rice or bread. It’s a complete pack of meal that consists of protein, vegetable, and peas. An easy to prepare meal, this food will simply be loved by your family.
INGREDIENTS
2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup
3 cups water
chopped celery
2 quartered onions
4 skinned and boneless chicken breast halves
5 sliced carrots
4 potatoes
1 1/3 cups milk and baking mix for the dumplings
salt
chicken broth and green peas
ground black pepper
PROCEDURE:
1. In a large, heavy pot, combine the chicken, chicken soup, water, chicken, celery, onion, salt,chicken broth and pepper. Cover the mixture and boil it over low heat for about 30 minutes to 1 hour until the chicken is cooked tenderly.
2. Afterwards, add the potatoes and carrots; cover again and cook another 10-15 minutes.
3. Remove chicken from pot, shred it, and return to pot. Add peas and cook for only 5 minutes.
4. The last addition to this meal is the dumplings. To make dumplings: Mix baking mix and milk until a soft dough forms. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto BOILING stew. Simmer covered for 10 minutes, then uncover and simmer an additional 10 minutes.
